starting out
Within the medical industry, healthcare professionals (HCPs) are progressively adopting mobile devices, using medical apps and incorporating them into their practice to help facilitate patient care. Patients and caregivers are also taking much more control and responsibility for their own health and wellness by tracking and monitoring all facets of their health. So it wasn’t hard to talk to them about the subject during the development of Tummy’s minimum viable product MVP.
Product Validation
Healthcare innovation incubators and accelerators around the world are helping entrepreneurs grow and develop their startup companies with funding, mentorship, and investment resources. Picking the right one for Tummy proved to be a challenge since our piloting phase is in Lebanon, a country that lacks any healthcare accelerator. We ended up partnering with a university medical center to support our pilot program.
